Two investment options are available. Both collections include a 20 minute photo session and an online gallery of edited images to choose from. The Essentials Collection ($275) provides a gallery of watermarked images and includes 5 downloads of your choosing. The More is More Collection ($350) provides a watermark-free gallery and unlimited downloads.
A 50% non-refundable retainer and signed contract (sent to you after booking) are required to officially secure your time slot. Maryland sales tax will be added to your package cost. Once sent, you will have 48 hours to sign the contract and remit payment before your time slot is released. The remaining balance can be paid any time prior to or on the day of the session by check or credit card. As a small business, checks are appreciated!
Clients will receive a gallery of images (20+) within 4 weeks of the session. If you select the Essentials Collection, you will have 2 weeks after your gallery delivery date to choose your images, purchase additional image downloads/prints/products, or upgrade to the More is More Collection for an additional $125. After 2 weeks, your gallery will be archived. If you choose the More is More Collection, all images are yours to download and the gallery will remain active for 1 year. Both collections allow for purchases of prints and other products through the gallery shop.
Is a mini-session right for my family?
Mini-sessions can work for most families, but may not be a perfect fit for some (and that’s okay!). Some families need more time to feel comfortable and the last thing I want you to feel is stressed during your photo session! You know yourself and your kids best. If you have concerns, please email me before booking and we can chat about it.
Do you use a setup or props?
Nope! I prefer to keep things as natural as possible for outdoor sessions. I’ll do my best to select locations with beautiful scenery!
What should I wear?
After booking, you’ll receive a mini-session guide with outfit tips.
How many family members can I bring?
Mini-sessions are best for immediate family members only or groups of about 6. If you want to bring more folks along, please email me so we can see what makes the most sense!
When should I arrive?
Please plan to arrive at least 5-10 minutes early to give yourself time to park and walk to meet me. Sometimes arriving early also helps kids acclimate to a new place and explore a bit before jumping into photos, so use your judgment based on your kids’ personalities. Mini sessions are held back to back with little wiggle room, so arriving a few minutes early will ensure that we can start on time and make the most of your session!
Are dogs allowed?
Sure! I love incorporating furry (leashed) friends into family photos. If you plan to bring your dog, I strongly encourage you to bring along a helper so we can take some photos of just the humans, too!
What’s your policy on image sharing?
While I LOVE being able to share images from your session, I fully respect your privacy and want to make sure you’re comfortable with what is shared online (on my website, social media, etc). When you book, you’ll let me know your preferences and that will be written into our contract.
What happens if there is inclement weather?
I will be monitoring the weather forecast closely in the days prior to mini-session day. If it looks like there will be rain and/or hefty winds, I will notify clients and will do my best to reschedule the sessions.
