This post is about 8 months in the making... oops! In honor of releasing some fall sessions, I thought it would be fun to take a look back at some of the people I had the pleasure of meeting & photographing last year!
For anyone who doesn't know, I started my photography business in September of 2017. In total, I photographed 15 families & 2 couples all in the span of 12 weeks!!! It was crazy busy, but so fulfilling. So here are some of my absolute FAVORITE images from those first few months in business!
These girls are the CUTEST and I swear they keep getting cuter. I've been able to photograph this family twice now and it's always so much fun.
Next up was my very first engagement session!! I really tried to capture this couple as authentically as possible - so beer + a deck of cards were necessities!
This one obviously taught me the importance of fruit roll-ups :)
This session was so much fun because the little girl was about the same age as my son. She was SO well-behaved and such a silly little sweetheart!
A small sampling of my fall mini's! I had my first experiences with back-to-back sessions which was exciting, a bit chaotic, and challenging! It was really interesting to figure out all the personalities and interact with all the kids in different ways. OBVIOUSLY the photo of the dog stealing a cookie is one of my all. time. favorites. Note to self: if you give small children treats, come prepared with alternatives for their puppy brothers :)
